Tour de Cure, one of the American Diabetes Association’s largest yearly fundraising events, begins with check-in at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Brighton High School, 78768 Brighton Road.
The bike ride is open to kids and adults and includes complimentary breakfast, rest stops with snacks and drinks, lunch from Carrabba’s Italian Grill, massages, a kids’ zone and live entertainment. As an added bonus, celebrity riders will cycle alongside participants.
Riders can choose routes with lengths of 10 to 100 miles. Participants can raise funds individually or through a team. Online registration is $25 through 6:30 a.m. Friday and $35 on race day at the ADA Solutions Table. In addition to the registration fee, all riders must raise a minimum of $200 to participate.
